How To Set Up & Access Emergency Contacts On Your Android Lock Screen

Imagine you go out on a date or meeting with a new crush you had just met, everything is going well and good and all of a sudden bam, your date collapses and is rushed to the hospital or nearby clinic

Now you have their phone with you but the only problem is, it has a pin/password on it and there is no way to access contacts in order to get through to her relatives, parents or close friends to disclose the situation of their beloved

Emergencies happen in life, that is why today I will show you a simple method that will help you set and access emergency contact information on a locked android phone

To set your emergency information on Android

  • Lock your phone
  • Click on the emergency button on the bottom left of the lock screen
  • Double-tap on ‘Emergency Information’ follow the prompt to unlock your phone, and then add your medical information
  • Enter emergency contacts and tap “Contacts” to add a person from your contact list. You can add as many contacts as you want.

How to Access Emergency contacts

Once you’ve set this up, anyone can find your “In Case of Emergency” information by swiping up on the lock screen and tapping “Emergency,” then double-tapping on “Emergency information.”
